According to Health Canada, look for lean meats like veal and lamb. It only takes 75 g (2 ½ oz) or 125 ml (½ cup) of meat to make up one Food Guide Serving. Recommended number of Food Guide Servings per day for meat and alternatives is 2 for women and 3 for men.
